A Bridge Called Love

It takes us back to brighter years, to happier sunlit days and to precious moments that will be with us always. And these fond recollections are treasured in the heart to bring us always close to those from whom we had to part. There is a bridge of memories from earth to Heaven above...It keeps our dear ones near us. It's the bridge that we call love. Author Unknown

  • Lola came into my life when I saw her in a kennel with 5 other dogs in a high kill shelter in Riverside.  She was aged at 10 and was visibly in pain. She was just laying there in the other dogs' urine and feces and I began to cry.  I "knew" something was wrong and I made it my mission to get her out. With the help of a friend Lola was pulled from the shelter, she was given a bath and then headed down to San Diego. Lola had a profound limp and we assumed she had an old break that hadn't healed properly.  Unfortunately, that was not the case. Lola had Osteosarcoma in her right front limb.  Lola's leg was amputated, I declined chemo and instead embarked on a journey of diet, supplements and natural remedies to help her.  Lola thrived for 18 months, she was only given 6, and then she finally succumbed to complications from seizures.  Lola touched my heart from the moment I saw her. Everyday I miss her smile, Lola always smiled... Godspeed Ms. Lola

    Luv, Lauren
